The first time of the day is a 1:16.552 by Friesacher in the Minardi.
Villeneuve in the Sauber is on the track

Friesacher improves with a 1:15.963
Yesterday Peter Sauber pretty much confirmed Villeneuve is not under threat when he said
Since the beginning of the season, there were constantly reports that we would replace Jacques. The fact is that he is still here, as you can see, and there is nothing to add to this

It is interesting that Villeneuve has gone back in the pits after doing another 2 laps. He is now back out!

M Schumacher, Karthikeyan, Friesacher and Albers.
