Best place for Aussie G.P

Post by The Meanest » Sat Feb 12, 2005 5:04 am

Hi everyone,
My wife and I are travelling to Aussie for the first G.P of 2005. I am only buying General Admission tickets and was wondering where the best place is to sit at the G.P. Any suggestions welcome!

Hello The Meanest!

For general admission, best place IMHO is Brockys hill which is right next to the Waite stand. You can see turns 11 and 12 and there is a screen directly in front and it is elevated. It is usually full though so you need to be pretty early.
There are other good areas around the track. Next to Clark and next to Piquet are two other areas that have screens but aren't elevated which means seeing through the safety fence. (They have raised the fence even further 2 years ago!)
My advise would be to have a walk around the track on your first day and look for areas that would suit your viewing preference.

Enjoy
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!

Hi JayVee,
Thanks very much for those excellent tips. Hope the weather is fine, the beer cold and a red machine finishes first :!:
