It's only Wednesday here... and they're still sweeping up the Danica Patrick confetti from the streets!! Ahh... THIS YEAR old INDY will be ROCKING again.

but first, back to the pinnacle of motor racing, F1, Grand Prix, the CLASS of world auto sport; the most sophisticated, most technically advanced, most expensive, most beautiful, most brilliant, most snazzy, most enlightened and most sclerotic, most rule bound, corporate, and money driven example of cynical, back-stabbing, hypocritical and snidely captained and morally [?!?!] supervised, racing series in the world!! :shotgun:

I refer, of course, to Mr. MY Private Life has Nothing to do with My Authority or Competence, Max :rap: Mosley. "If I had been found driving under the influence, now... or carrying xeroxes of Ferrari Corporate papers to the local Kinkos..." (I wonder, would Max imagine that at Kinkos one could order up something, shall we say, 'kinky'?)

O.K. Come to order :crush:

For Barcelona, Two Time WDC Fernando Alonso's 'Home Race,' the points will go to:
:1st: Kimi Raikkonen in the Ferrari with the hole in the nose because he should be over his desert sniffles by now...
:2nd: Lewis Hamilton in the McLaren without holes in the nose because if he doesn't get going soon, he'll be an afterthought for 2008!
:3rd: Felipe Massa in the other Ferrari, because it IS the other Ferrari
4th will be Robert Kubica in the BMW/Sauber :burnout:
5th will be Heikki Kovalainen in the other McLaren
6th will be Nick Heidfeld in the other BMW/Sauber
7th will go to Fernando Alonso because Jay Vee loves him even more than I do :alright:
and the last point will be: handsome Nico Rosberg in the Williams, :lucky: because I can't bring myself to put a Toyota or a Honda in the points yet!

On the Pole: Lewis Hamilton, nachurly :drive:
:drink: Jim Watt
My Racing Gods: Fangio, Vukovich; Senna & Mears --all racers all the time; graceful winners & generous in defeat, but never giving up!!

Well here are my picks for Spain .... should push me up the rankings :D :D

The picks you have entered are:

Winner: Felipe Massa - I think he will continue his winning form
Second: Heikki Kovalainen - Confidence gaining
Third: Kimi Raikkonen - First Bahrain then Spain ... pehaps I will recover in Turkey .... NOT!!
Fourth: Fernando Alonso - Last race I was optimistic, this time, it is a real possibility - besides I live him more than Jim does :D :D
Fifth: Lewis Hamilton - Has to continue chasing Alonso
Sixth: Nick Heidfeld - The best he can do
Seventh: Jarno Trulli - For some reason once Ralf left, Trulli is shining, looks like the Toyota people we listening to the wrong guy
Eighth: David Coulthard - Taking a risk here but I suspect he's had enough crashes already!!

Pole: Felipe Massa - This time Kubica won't have a light tank
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!

A 3-way tie for the round of Spain. Rachel Pascoe, ManhattanMike and sharkdiver top scored with 47 points each.

The average score was 29.48.

As more than one player top scored, the winner is the player who submitted their picks earliest. So congratulations to Rachel Pascoe, you have won a NewsOnF1 Compact Smart Digital Clock with Alarm.
ManhattanMike and sharkdiver rolled their picks from a previous round.

All 3 top scorers managed to pick 6 of the top 8 finishers with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 8th in their exact finishing place. Picking Kimi Raikkonen for pole earned them 4 additional points and scored a bonus 4 points for picking 6 and Pole!

Please give us your comments on how you've managed such a stunning pick!
All other players can contribute here as well. We'd love to hear from you.
