This weekend we return to Monaco, home of the twistiest circuit on the calendar. This will be survival of the fittest and the best will triumph. Just who, we will have to wait and see.
My thoughts are that we will see the return to the top step of Max Verstappen. He and Sir Lewis will have a battle royal and, this time, the tacticians at Red Bull will not let the victory slip.
The Mercedes trusty sidekick, Lord Valtteri of the Bottas, will again show some initial pace but the monarchy will again ask that he refrain from taking the vital points from his illustrious leader.
Just who will be next? It has been proved that this isn't a power circuit however track position is essential. The right car on a reasonable pace can become an insurmountable object that defies all legitimate attempts to pass.
We may even see the Saturday specialist, George Russell, score his ever Grand Prix first points if he can drag his trusty Williams into Q2.

The Ferrari's are genuinely fast! Both cars in the 1 minute 11's and 0.4 of a second clear of the Red Bull and Mercedes.
Yuki Tsunoda and Mick Schumacher both suffered incidents with the barriers keeping them at the rear of qualifying.

Mick Schumacher was having a great session until near the end when he ended in the barriers coming out of casino square.
Latifi may make qualifying, Schumacher, no chance....

DNS	Charles Leclerc Ferrari
Charles Leclerc failed to take the start after noises were heard in the left rear of his rebuilt Ferrari.
Unluckiest driver had to be Valtteri Bottas who entered the pits for his routine tyre stop in a comfortable 2nd place. The right front nut refused to budge which then resulted in the locking tabs rounding off.
