Re: The 2020 Spanish Grand Prix Thread
Well, this weekend we are off to Spain and the heat. This will be unusual for teams as they pre-season test at the end of winter and are normally back in May. Temperatures at around 15:00 on each day are forecast to be in the 31-33 degree Celsius region. Does this sound familiar? Something like maybe the last couple of weekends at Silverstone? Pirelli have indicated that the tyre compounds for this weekend are the 3 hardest available, C1, 2 & C3. Ironically, these compounds were used at last year's event.
So, what to expect. I don't think that Mercedes will suffer as badly as they did over the last couple of weekends. Red Bull will still be sitting up their tail pipes and the Racing Points pushing them all along. Sebastian Vettel may actually turn up this weekend. He really hasn't been anywhere near the pointy end of the field and his team mate has been really putting him in his place. Good onya Chuck!
The Renault powered cars will struggle for power and the other teams will also, with the deficiencies in their chassis hindering their progress.

Re: The 2020 Spanish Grand Prix Thread
Sergio Perez and Daniil Kvyat incurred 5 second penalties for failing to observe blue flags.
Perez conceded one place to his team mate while the penalty on Kvyat had no impact on his overall position.
