Re: The 2020 Austria 01 Grand Prix Thread
Well, we are back, finally!
The season is off to a belated start following the last minute cancellation of the Australian Grand Prix due to COVID-19.
The big question will be, 'Who has made the most of their time away?'
You can expect the big 3 to stay at the top but in which order?
Will Racing Point live up to expectations with their mock Mercedes?
Will McLaren manage to keep their momentum from 2019?
How about Alpha Tauri, Renault, Haas and Alfa Romeo?
And what about Williams? After the turmoil over the last couple on months, will they again move back up the standings?
These are interesting times. See you on the weekend!

Re: The 2020 Austria 01 Grand Prix Thread
The old adage that Safety cars breed safety cars held true.
Mercedes seemed to have the race under control, however they both had similar problems.
Safety cars brought the field back to them and, on new softer tyres, Ferrari and McLaren managed to maintain their distance to Hamilton's Mercedes.
It took a fastest lap on the last lap by Lando Norris to take the bottom step on the podium.
Unlucky drivers had to be the Red Bull pairing. Alexander Albon who ranged up on the outside of Lewis Hamilton and was run out of room into the gravel trap.
Max Verstappen seemed to have a electronics failure that kept throwing his car into anti-stall mode while in a podium position.
With only 11 cars crossing the line, Nicholas Latifi was unlucky to be the only finisher not to pick up points.
