This weekend we are off to Azerbaijan. This date has provided exciting races over the last couple of seasons.
Now, for a winner.
I really can't go past the dynamic duo in their Mercedes. They have been at the top of their game for 2019 and I can't see the overall results changing. However, Valtteri Bottas Mk2 is finally showing just why he was drafted into the Mercedes fold following Nico Rosberg's sudden departure. Hence my decision to give him both the win and pole.
The Ferrari's have to be next and I will again throw young Chuck onto the podium. Vettel to fourth.
Now, will Red Bull step up or will it be someone else. Possibly throw in young Max with Ricciardo close on his heels.
The next places should be filled by their respective team mates and I will give the final top 10 placings to a McLaren and a Racing Point.

FP1 was abandoned after 12 minutes due to a manhole cover being dislodged probably by Charles Leclerc's Ferrari.
George Russell was following and hit the dislodged cover causing significant damage to the underfloor of his Williams.
Only Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel set a lap time.

Following the abandonment of FP1, this session commenced without the Williams of George Russell.
The damage sustained by hitting the manhole cover requires the replacement of the chassis.
With the time lost in track evolution, there were many brake lockups due to lack of adhesion disrupting many team's programs.
Lance Stroll locked the rears and hit the barriers at turn 2 early in the session.
With about 20 minutes remaining, Daniil Kvyat locked his fronts, jumped on the gas and also hit the barrier causing significant damage to his Toro Rosso's left side.

Penalties so far.
Antonio Giovinazzi has a 10 place penalty for another electronics change.
Pierre Gasly to start from pit lane due to missing the weighbridge at the end of the session.
