This weekend is the penultimate round in Brazil. The manufacturer's championship is still on the line and will be Lewis to deliver, with some assistance from Valtteri. Ferrari will try their hardest to halt the juggernaut that is Mercedes. Red Bull will still be doing their best to ruin the party and, to some extent, will succeed.

Best of the rest is where the interest is. The Force India's should fill the next best positions, possibly a Haas and maybe Charles Leclerc will continue his run of top 10's.

Well, that was some exciting qualifying session. The rain didn't come as heavily as predicted but there were enough drops to ruin the driver's concentration.
Biggest talking point was Hamilton and Sirotkin almost coming together as Sirotkin was about to wind up for a hot lap. As it was on Sirotkin's out lap, there seems to be no penalty however I feel that someone needs to be spoken to at least.
Another Hamilton incident was on the straight after turn 3 where he didn't hinder Kimi Raikkonen but didn't make it easy for him either.
Off track, Sebastian Vettel was called to the scales in Q2. He drove onto and off the scales damaging them in the process. This was at a time where Ferrari were trying to get a time on the soft tyres before a weather change ruined their strategy. Procedure for the weighbridge is that the car is pushed onto and off to avoid damage to the equipment. This incident is at the stewards for discussion on what penalty he has incurred.

Well, that was some race. With Max out front and controlling the race, Esteban Ocon, on fresher tyres, caught up to him. Rules do say that you can unlap yourself and Ocon endeavored to do so. Ocon had the run up the straight and showed his nose up the outside of Verstappen at the entry to the Senna curves. Max, being the racer that he is, decided that this wasn't on and fought back and the two made heavy contact in the second curve. My thoughts are that Ocon had every right to try to unlap himself and Max just ran him out of track but the stewards saw it differently and penalized Ocon with a 10 second penalty that was served in his pit stop.
Daniel Ricciardo finally had a little luck after starting from grid position 11, caught up to the rear of Kimi's Ferrari. The podium was in sight but Kimi drove a heady race and stopped the Red Bull's momentum.
Lewis had his own problems with the Super Softs only lasting 19 laps and having to run the remainder of the race on his medium compound tyres. He was also complaining of an engine problem that required him to nurse is Mercedes to the finish.

One round to go but both championships have been decided.
