Re: The 2019 Brazilian GP Thead
With the top 6 pretty well having these positions to themselves, I will venture to the mid-field. Don't get me wrong. There will still be a battle and just who dials in best will win. It just seems that the Mercedes will do enough for pole and then strategy will determine their positions when the chequered flag falls.
Renault still have a lot to prove with the customer McLarens showing them how it is done. Renault, since their exclusions from Japan, seemed to have decided that they want at least position 5 in the constructors title and had knuckled down to do so. May a little bad luck to the orange cars and they just may be best of the rest.
Toro Rosso ahead of Racing Point, Sauber, Haas and then Williams.

FP2
The session started badly for Robert Kubica crashing out early.
Pierre Gasly's Toro Rosso looked like it had an engine let go coming out of turn 3.
Daniil Kvyat's Toro Rosso decided to shut down while starting his entry into the final turn. The car went off into the barriers. There will be a lot of clean up following fire retardant being used following the initial incident.
The times are so close. 0.2 seconds cover the top 5 and 0.4 seconds cover p6 to p17.
