Just got my motor magazine. Love it.
Some enterprising young lad has designed a twin turbo mod for any LS1 or LS2. It is shown on a brand new Monaro. Hands up who doesn't like 430KW and 830NM of torque! And I am not even a Holden fan. They are also looking to export the package to Uncle Sam.

LS1/LS2 :?: :?: Are these Holden Engines ?

Besides what do you do with 430KW and 830NM on a road car ? Isn't 200KW more than enough. Mine is 96 KW   , a bit on the low side but good enough for me :D

What do you do with 430KW? well it involves going too fast, and lots and lots of blue smoke. Possibly a very irate police officer and or magistrate.

or if you don't want too drive fast & get done, it makes a very nice sound & gets you past little old grannies who do 20-30kmh below the limit in the right hand lane.

You can download some nice V8 and V10 engine sounds from the net, play it through some nice speakers and you'll save your self $$$$ which you can spend on something worth it

I don't think you have to worry. I have to have the money before I can waste it.

So you agree, buying a 400 or whatever KW engine is a waste

I completely agree that buying a car with over 400KW is a waste. But that doesn't mean it shouldn't happen. If there is one thing I love, its wasting money on stupid projects. Just look at my fish tank.

That would be at the flywheel, down the big dipper on a very windy day, with a full complement of passengers, the dog, cat and canary breathing out at the same time, full tank, wind screen washer full, all the windows shut, all accessories off, 60 kps tyre pressure all round, eyes shut, pedal thru the firewall, slipstreaming behind the school bus and the valves playing the 1812 overture  :burnout:

But you can have a drive day with a car. Say you do that 4 times a year, still a lot cheaper than buying
