I didn't have much else to say on Hampton Downs. All that I can say is that in about two years time it should be completed. That would bring back the number of permanent tracks in New Zealand back to six.

Okay, in your opinion, is that a good thing?
Are you by any chance related to "PineTree" Meads?

The track should be good for New Zealand motorsport but I think they missed the boat on getting max value out of it. If it was done two years ago they could have bidded for a round in the V8's.

I prefer permanent tracks than street tracks. 8)

A1GP is in Taupo for the next three years. After that who knows. A battle between tracks maybe. :D

The track isn't graded high enough for F1. This country isn't big enough to host a round of F1. :(

From memory Hamilton has V8's for five years.

The date for the race at Hamilton has been set. April 18th-20th 2008.

Hamilton has a seven year deal. Looking forward to see how it shapes up as a venue. :D
