Sorry tis late..........in my next life I will have supreme control over Destiny, Fate, Hope, Faith, Charity, and Time.
I will be God, or a Woman. (Please refer all complaints directly to ED :) )
Barbagello is an interesting circuit, it certainly keeps the drivers focused.
2:41 kms in length, clockwise,....... and little of it is flat.
Top speed is a portly 250 plus on the straight, and Cat corner is a ......roll a smoke and wait for the bugga to finally turn in while the brakes are cooking.
Tell you what........I will stumble over to the locker n see whats left of my race suit.........see if I can find a pair of Ugh boots that fit.......I really should be putting in my answers to Jacfans Quiz (That was not a paid announcement)........but we all better get used to night time racing
Back in a minute. .........Oh,.......bring your Brain bin :)

Guy, n Girl...........thats not appropriate anymore.......is it ?.........s< you have 11 hours n some to get your tips in
Now, tis 12 years since I binned it on this circuit.......so This is from memory I tried to forget.
Jump in, n lets go.
We are in 2nd spot on the grid, we have to do the mandatory stops, so the team boss says, we will you fill you light, ........you simply drive around the outside of Skaife at turn 1, and disappear in to the distance.
We are now sitting in a very heavy vehicle, with a clucth that would last a week in a Honda Accord, only driven on Sundays by a ........ and "Only" 100 litres of fuel.
GREEN.
Bugga........bog it off the start.......three are past like sharks after minnow.......bang thru the gate twice........stand on the brake pedal........shite .......Rusty is on the Inside......as we click it back to 2nd for the 85km turn 1, if he leans on us its gunna be all sand/grass and ten spots lost, then its torture the LH rear as we start to climb toward the Esses........on camber, off camber, off camber......apexes are critical here,.....shoulder Rusty on entry.......GT tries to take advantage.....cloud of sand dust in the mirror......oops....under the regs we have to have a LH mirror too.......top the rise....and bury the boot (gently, of course  )
Long downhill, camber rolls over,........have to slow, point, pick the apex, get it perfec........thats where I binned it.........never completed a race lap
