The first of the major teams have announced their endurance line up for S,Down and Bathurst
Stone Bros Racing have announced that Warren Luff will partner Ambrose
Luke Youlden will drive with Rusty Ingall.
The pairings were decided after some lengthy test runs by Luff and Youlden, and based on the car set up preferences.
Ambrose and Ingall run different set ups to suit their individual styles, and Luff went better in the Ambrose car, while Youlden had a natural style more suited to Ingall's.
Youlden is a fair bit taller than Rusty, most of the drivers are, so the team is going to have to develop an adjustable seat system.

I'm not surprised that Bathurst is selling well. It always rates well on TV in NZ.

Its good to see experienced drivers paired with relative unknowns.

Yes, but sadly the days of chucking the kids in the car and going up for the 4 days are fast coming to an end for the average family. The camping costs and ticket prices are getting higher and higher. My strategy now is to go up for the thurs, fri, sat, stay in a pub about 40 minutes out of town, and bolt home after the shootout. Then, come 7am sun., morning its- phone unplugged, doors locked, esky ( chillybin) beside the chair, curtains drawn, sound right up, til 6pm. God help the world if there is a power failure!!!

In unconfirmed news, Murphy will team with Owen Kelly and Rick Kelly will team with Nathan Pretty. Nathan has been off the scene for a while, but has podiums to his name and a lot of V8 experience. He is still comparatively young, and still quick.

Following 2 days of extensive testing at the high speed Phillip Isle track, Ford Performance racing have officially announced the driver pairings for the enduros
In the #6" Cat" car, Jason Bright will share with David Brabham. They are both previous winners at Bathurst.
In the #5 Ford Credit falcon, the duties will be shared by Greg Ritter,( the defending Sandown Winner,) and Cameron McLean, who won there in 2004.
Both of these look to be strong entries, with good chances at both enduros.
