British Grand Prix - Live commentary (Race!)

Post by Ed » Fri Jul 08, 2005 5:56 pm

This weekend we are trialing a chat service to run the Grand Prix commentary. If the service turn to be unreliable we'll run the commentary on this thread.

UPDATE: We've noticed a number of issues already. I don't think this chat s/w can be used reliably at this stage. We will keep evaluating other options. In the meantime, live commentary will be available on this thread

It is cool but remember it is a trial at this stage.

The default refresh rate is 5 seconds, you could drop that to 1 second under settings but if there are many users there could be some delays.

Performance and speed is what we'll be looking at.
