First Friday practice saw Hamilton quickest 0.237 seconds ahead of Rosberg. Ferrar's Vettel was 3rd but a massive 1.644 seconds behind with his teammate Raikkonen in 4th.

Ricciardo and Verstappen were 5th and 6th however they didn't run the super soft compound whereas Mercedes and Ferrari did run that tyre compound.

2nd Friday Practice:

Rosberg quickest with a 1:20.435 from Ricciardo (+0.595), Vettel (+0.913), Verstappen (+1.335), Hamilton (+1.525), Raikkonen (+1.623), Alonso (+1.893), Button (+1.952), Hulkenberg (+2.014) & Perez (+2.218).

Gutierrez, Massa, Sainz, Bottas, Grosjean, Kvyat, Magnussen, Ericssion, Palmer, Nasr, Wehrlein and Haryanto make the rest of the field.

The order following the first 2 free practice sessions looks like Mercedes followed by Red Bull and then Ferrari

Rosberg quickest with a 1:20.261 from Verstappen (+0.002), Ricciardo (+0.465), Hamilton (+0.508), Raikkonen (+0.598), Vettel (+0.924), Alonso (+1.323), Bottas (+1.388), Perez (+1.411) & Palmer (+1.674).

Massa, Magnussen, Button, Gutierrez, Grosjean, Sainz, Hulkenberg, Kvyat, Nasr, Ericsson, Wehrlein and Haryanto make the rest of the field.

Qualifying has been delayed by 20 minutes due to extreme wet weather conditions!

Q1 stopped minutes into the session due to more heavy rain!

Q1 resumes as the rain eases

Q1 stopped again! This time due to a crash by Ericsson. Ricciardo quickest from Verstappen and Perez. 9 minutes remaining

And yet another stoppage! Massa crashes, he is ok. Now it is Nasr who is quickest from Ricciardo and Verstappen!

Knocked out of Q2: Grosjean, Kvyat, Perez, Raikkonen, Gutierrez and Nasr.‬

Rosberg on Pole with a 1:19.965 from Hamilton (+0.143), Ricciardo (+0.315), Verstappen (+0.592), Vettel (+0.909), Sainz (+1.166), Alonso (+1.246), Button (+1.632), Hulkenberg (+1.858) & Bottas (+2.217)

Rosberg may have set his quickest time under yellow so we will await the official classification

Just watched Rosberg's pole lap. There ware so many times in it when it all could have had cause to be aborted, particularly in the last sector. He may have been a little lucky as Vettel was also on a flyer and ahead, alerting the 3 cars they both passed en-route to their qualifying positions.

The pole time for Rosberg has been allowed as apparently he lifted slightly under the yellow flags.
