Re: Round of Britain 02 '20 - Picks and comments
Well I can't see all that drama happening again at this version of the British Grand Prix this weekend.
All teams will have learned their lessons from last weekend's tyre debacle. So the big question is "Where do I go this weekend with my tips?"
They looked so good for most of the grand prix with Hamo leading Bottas leading Verstappen.
My decision is that I will use my tips from the last event.
Winner: Lewis Hamilton
Second: Valtteri Bottas
Third: Max Verstappen
Fourth: Alexander Albon
Fifth: Lance Stroll
Sixth: Sergio Perez
Seventh: Charles Leclerc
Eighth: Lando Norris
Ninth: Daniel Ricciardo
Tenth: Carlos Sainz
Pole: Lewis Hamilton
Maybe sanity will prevail.
Sergio Perez will be replaced by Nico Hulkenberg for this race but 10 'n' Pole uses regular team drivers so he will assume Sergio's name.

Well, CM LEAN
Since I'm practically the only one who posts his picks on the Forum, do you think you could change my rating. I used to Jim Watt with a different email address and when I changed to the current ony, you "bumped me" way back down. Look up my old rating under Jim Watt with the old address jwatt@butler.edu and transfer my old rating to my new address, please.
I see you, like I, are pulling for Hulkenberg. I'm just hoping something happens to Max, so Nico can finally stand on a podium. So, I know I'm a sentimental fool, but that's part of being a fan, I think. I'm also cheering Daniel Ricciardo, hoping his Renault engine doesn't let him down; he's bot big elbows, but he needs some power to go with his talent. Here's my picks with less ado:
1. Lewis Hamilton
2. Valteri Bottas
3. Max Verstappen
4. Sergio Perez (alias Hulkenberg) and I'm praying for just a bit of good luck for a change (hoping Valteri stumbles again or somebody (besides Seb) runs into Max
5. Lando Norris because McLaren knows how to tune their Renault and he knows how to overtake anyone who's not looking
6. Daniel Ricciardo just because
7. LeClerc will drive the Red Sled as usual, but it will be a little harder on the second go round
8. Albon will continue to be as lucky as Hulkenberg
9. Ocon will bring his Renault into the points just barely...
10. ahead of Seb Vettel who will be gamely driving the "spare parts" Ferrari
Pole: Lewis will do it again,
You know, I just don't buy the breathless Sky commentators raves about Silverton. It's better than the course they laid out at Indianapolis, but that's not saying much is it?
I'm hoping for more excitement in the middle of the race because everyone should be throwing team orders to the wind.
