Team Progress

Post by Bundy » Tue May 31, 2005 2:13 pm

I would like to get everyone's thoughts on how we see each team progressing from Melbourne to present.

My thoughts;

Mclaren - Started slowly but are now the team to beat
Renault - Have slipped from the No.1 team but are not far behind Mclaren
Williams - Are now starting to challenge the front runners after poor start
Ferrari - Showing signs BUT of what I don't know
BAR - Must be the biggest disappointment of the year
Red-Bull - Have had some reasonable results
Toyota - Are they showing signs of stagnating and falling behind?
Jordan - Can't beat anyone but Minardi and don't look like making progress
Minardi - Continue to bring up the rear
Sauber - What's going on here???

The season is still young and anyone can still win it. The above is in no particular order, just a few thoughts about who has improved and who has fallen back in the pack.

let me know your thoughts

Mate, I will sit back and watch the Melbourne Footy show on Thusday night ( the spanish dancer likes big strong athletic men  ) sip a couple of wild turkeys, thursday being wild turkey sipping night, ponder, ruminate, cogitate,
scratch, belch and fart, as one does (You have got to love that spanish tucker), and get back to you on that.
Didn't want you feeling lonely til then
But being an Essendon supporter, I guess you would be lonely at Flinders Street station at 5pm on a Friday night :crush: :ROTFLMAO: :bouncest:    :alright:

MCLAREN - No.1 since Imola

RENAULT - No.2 again

FERRARI - No.3, not on results but speed

WILLIAMS - No.4, jumped TOYOTA

TOYOTA - No.5, might have reached their top

REDBULL - No.6, last race even higher

SAUBER - No.7, drivers come on!

BAR - No.8, bags of potential, upto top 5

JORDAN and MINARDI, even if they impreove there is no direct opponent for either of them..

Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.

have a lapsus is to make a mistake which you wouldn't made if you'd had thought about what you were doing twice... in soem was, and unintentional error...

this definition may not be excatly, but i hope gives an idea...

Back to the topic with no lapsus (maybe it is a Russian word ??????)

My take

First the season is not young, we have passed the 1/3 mark. Alonso The Cute will win the championship, only competition will be from Kimi and possibly Montoya if he stops playing tennis :D

Renault - At the top, Monaco was due to tyre selection. They bounced back at the ring.
Mclaren - They are fast yes but they are not very reliable and their drivers are hard on the car
Toyota - Very reliable but not too fast. The biggest positive surprise to me so far this season especially Trulli.
Williams - They are fast on some circuits but I doubt they'll win races.
Ferrari - I think Michael is getting the JV virus    Barrichello will beat him this year despite the PT
Red-Bull - Very surprising. They could be strong next year!!
Sauber - Like Williams are gradually improving but won't get it right everwhere. Funny BMW want to go with them ??
BAR - Coming back after 2 races is like coming back after playing tennis. I still think they will fight with Toyota and Williams for 4th (ok and Ferrari)
Jordan - Narain was good until Monaco then something happened
Minardi - The new car isn't as slow as the old one but fails too often to make any difference
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!

Go and look at qual for the season, look at Williams v Toyota race results since they moved to the bottom of the world and explain in words of one syllable or less why Williams are not going to win races....please...pretty please....pretty please with vegemite and honey and peanut butter

Its only a matter of time. They almost have the car to do it now. Williams will win. Trust me!
