Just flicking through the Sky channels, as you do when you are supposed to be working, and came across the Laureus Sports Awards show just as Alex Zanardi was given the 'comeback of the year award'. Nice to see that the whole hall full of sportsmen and women knew just who he was, and boy did he get an ovation. Surely, the most deserving recipient since Lance Armstrong.

Hats off to him for coming back in the sport that nearly killed him.

I agree fully, hats off to him........i remember when he had the acident that almost cost him his life, i was flabbergasted when i read that he would return to racing.......

Another driver i take my hat off to is....Kenny Brack, he is back in Indy Car after that frightful accident he had with Thomas Shekter just over a year ago (212 G...highest ever recorded non fatal accident).......yet he has returned to the exact same team that he was with when he had the accident.
