Predict Fastest Laptime (Spain - K-D is the winner!)

Post by Tim » Wed May 04, 2005 8:24 pm

Its time again for you to have a crack at the Fastest Lap time of the Race so lets see who can be closest to the Fastest Lap time this round.
If someone gets a perfect match or near perfect (+/- 0.1 seconds), we'll give away a prize. And an even better prize if you get the time and the driver and better still if you get the time, the driver and the lap number!

Please include the time to the 1000's of a second, the driver and the lap number.

For reference, the Fastest Lap time from 2004 was 1:17.450 (Michael Schumacher)

The Fine Print
One entry per user with one change allowed. Entries close prior to the start of first qualifying session on Saturday
The winner will be the one who manages to predict the closest time. You need to be within 0.1 seconds of fastest lap time to be declared the winner.
In case of two players predicting the same time and driver, the player who submitted earlier will be the winner.
Changing time and/or driver is allowed only once and the change cannot be a max or min to try and gain advantage (eg. if the highest fastest time posted is a 1:45.345, a player cannot change their time to a time above that)

With that time you must be gambling on a damp, not wet, track
A warmer road surface than Imola

K-D was 0.07 seconds off the actual time. Well done K-D. You've won a NewsOnF1 Smart Digital Clock with Alarm

Another player worth mentioning is julian mayo who predicted a time of 1:15.54 which was 0.1 off the actual time (julian should predict a time to the 1000th of a second. To the 100th isn't accepted  )

K-D, Please forward your full name and mailing address to me via PM or email

Congratulations on picking such a close time!
You were actually closest at San Marino, now in Spain your are closest again and also a winner!

Once again keep it up guys and tell others to participate too!
