Kimi: he is not that interested

Post by jido » Mon Mar 03, 2008 7:15 pm

From the news article
Williams, 65, is reluctant to declare decisively that Raikkonen, the Finnish driver, is simply not as good as Hamilton.

"I don't know Kimi well. He is a gifted driver, as good as anyone, but Kimi's weakness is that he is not that interested.

"So if a man of equal skill, let's say, turns up in an identical car, with one working harder than the other, it is more likely that that man would have the upper hand," he added.

Is that to support Hamilton? I would like to see how Kimi is "not that interested" when he wins lol

I am surprised Sir Frank would say something like this. Don't know what he means by 'not interested'

I have actually read recently - in that stupid magazine called F1 Racing I may add - I read that Raikkonen told one of their journalists a few years ago that he wants to win the title then walk away ....

Maybe he is not interested but he has been in the sport for a few years now and it doesn't look like he is going anytime soon

It will be intersting to see Hamilton in his second year but it will be hard listening to James Allen again ......

I wish they can wake up and be honest with themselves and stop bragging about last year which clearly was an unfair year both in terms of car and driver.
Who knows, if Ron Dennis does really leave then their might be a change inside the McLaren camp .... unlikely though!
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!
