Please can you give an indication of the testing schedule today at Silverstone i.e when did it start/stop/finish etc?
many thanks

From what I've read of today's test(read reports of today's session on ar1.com, speedtv.com, motorsport.com, etc.), here's a brief overview of what happened..........
~~Scuderia Ferrari: worked on aero and mechanical setups for this weekend's British GP; something prevented them from completing their work for the day(unfortunately, I couldn't find out what it was specifically..... )
~~McLaren-Mercedes: similar to Ferrari[worked on the usual suspects of aero/mech. items]
~~BMW-Sauber: same as the first two teams
note.....both McLaren and BMW were able to complete their scheduled activities for the day
~~no problems were reported from Red Bull and Williams; in fact, according to the motorsport.com article(link will be listed at the bottom of the post), Red Bull completed their scheduled activities in time to allow Webber to run more laps than originally planned for
~~Honda worked on what Ross Brawn called a "new aero package" in today's session[.....note to Mr. Brawn's; your team's car's still a pig to drive at the moment; just start working on a 2009 car ASAP......  ]
~~Force India worked on what the team's chief technical officer, Mike Gascoyne, called a "major aero update" which included front wing, diffuser and bodywork items. The team also worked on new fule systems and various race setups.
~~Toro Rosso didn't even it through the morning as their STR3, quoting the motorsport.com article, "conked" out(mechanical problems by all accounts).......
~~I didn't see anything written on what Toyota was doing; my assumption, nexstar, is that they were working on various race setups and whatnot prior to the British GP

As for the drivers............if the teams do what they normally do during a typical 3-day test mid-season, expect both drivers for each team to run at least one day.......here's the motorsport.com link

Hope this helps...... :)

(from WE, 25 June 2008)
High winds during the second day of testing at Silverstone played havoc w/several drivers ontrack, most notably Force India's Giancarlo Fisichella, who had a heavy shunt at Becketts; he was taken to a local hospital for precautionary checks but was uninjured.

Most teams, by all accounts, continued working on their 2008 cars and on various race setups for the upcoming British GP..................

1} Heikki Kovalainen, McLaren-Mercedes, 1:20.015 sec
2} Jarno Trulli, Toyota, 1:20.391 sec
3} Nico Rosberg, Williams-Toyota, 1:20.624 sec
4} Nelson Piquet, Jr., Renault, 1:20.787 sec
5} Sebastien Vettel, Toro Rosso/Ferrari, 1:20.795 sec
6} Robert Kubica, BMW-Sauber, 1:20.982 sec
7} Felipe Massa, Scuderia Ferrari, 1:21.069 sec
8} Mark Webber, Red Bull/Renault, 1:21.170 sec
9} Jenson Button, Honda, 1:21.445 sec
10} Giancarlo Fisichella, Force India, 1:21.583 sec
