seems to be some talk about alonso leaving mclaren at the end of the season, and, a possibility of his race seat being offered to button! recon this could happen?

Hi Paul,

It could happen but two British drivers make it unlikely. Also would Button take the risk of becoming a team-mate to Hamilton ?

Agree that two Brits on the same team does not seem very likely but if offered a McL seat Button should better take it. It could well be another Schumi-Rubens kinda deal. Honda lag behind as is and I don't see them beating McLaren anytime soon.

Can't see that as being a good move for Jenson. Whoever gets the seat will have to deal with being second fiddle to Ron's little darling.

True but Honda need to pull their act together real soon. With the engine freeze and the aero freeze Honda won't stand a chance until 2010.
