Ok for once I will go first. Probably should have waited for the outcome of the courts or whatever but what the hell.

The picks you have entered are:

Winner: Fernando Alonso ~ the champ is looking good at the moment and very focused.

Second: Felipe Massa ~ Will want revenge for Italy.

Third: Kimi Raikkonen ~ Still good but seems to have lost some fire..... but could just be sore neck hehehe.

Fourth: Lewis Hamilton ~ Too good to totally ignore.

Fifth: Nick Heidfeld ~ Usually good at picking up the crumbs though often tight between Nick and Robert... never sure who to pick.

Sixth: Robert Kubica ~ See above

Seventh: Heikki Kovalainen ~ Often in the points

Eighth: Mark Webber ~ So Julian won't have anything to complain about. OMG what am I thinking .... Julian having nothing to complain about... oh boy the less said the better.

Pole: Fernando Alonso ~ Can you hear drums Fernando? 8)

:D Dear JacFan: Thanks for going ahead and picking First; I'm surprised there are so few and there's less than a day left to pick!! Could it be that people are losing interest because there are still Three Drivers in the Running for WDC? Anyway, the Webbo had a good race last week; that means the front left wheel will fall off this week at some point, doesn't it? And, anyway, don't worry about Julian; he loves to complain as much as I do :ROTFLMAO:

Now, to business :crush:

I am (like last year) hoping to jinx Fernando by picking him, so for

:1st: I pick the Spaniard. He probably should win the WDC, and if he can win at Spa, I think he will
:2nd: Kimi will get revenge on Lewis for last week's super overtaking move. He has less to lose than the Brit and he WILL push it, this being the second week on that engine
:3rd: Lewis should cruise to the podium; I doubt, tho', he'll be smiling on it!

4th: and complaining about Lewis's blocking tactics will be Phil in the other Ferarri (unless, of course, he parks it again, not liking the way it jumps the kerbs)

5th: pushing Felipe (again because he has less to lose) will be quick Nick in the BMW/Sauber [this is such good karma for the long suffering Swiss Sportsman, isn't it?] I'd love for him to get round Massa, wouldn't you? :burnout:

6th: Heikki, the other Finn, getting every mph out of the Renault again :juggle:
7th: Robert will be pushing Heikki, too :drive:

8th: final point will go to Nico Rosberg (sorry Julian, no room for the Webbo in the points this week) :alright:

The pole, of course, will be Kimi's

Cheers Mates! Hasn't this season just Rocked?!?

I haven't posted my picks for a long while, Jim,......the braying of the Hyenas was upsetting the dawgs.......I lodged my picks early, and I did not pick a McLaren.
I think Mad Max is about to justify his name

:( Dear Julian: Sorry the Dawgs were yelping!

Can't imagine the sounds when they hear Max has stung Ron Dennis for $100 Million in Fines and Zero points for the Constructor's Championship this Year!! I know Ron is almost always a Royal Pain in the Nether Regions (he's not my favorite person in F1), but if he was paranoid (about how the Red Cars run everything in F1 and love to pick on McLaren) before, he'll be over the TOP now! And I would say, with reason.

I guess that's what you mean by Mad Max proving he's Truly Mad

Or was that some kind of down under slang for the Webbo? (I mean the Mel Gibson, Mad Max thing)?

Cheers. Sit back. Enjoy the race. Given the way this season has gone, ANYthing can happen Sunday.

Nup, you got it right.......the only reason Mad Max did not exclude the McLaren drivers, was to save his own scrawny neck

Second: Kimi Raikkonen - Ferrari's only chance

Third: Felipe Massa - Is told he has to help Kimi

Fourth: Lewis Hamilton - Things aren't that easy boy

Fifth: Nick Heidfeld - He always finishes 5th doesn't he !!

Sixth: Heikki Kovalainen - Getting better and better

Seventh: Nico Rosberg - one of the best out there, too bad the car isn't as good

Eighth: Robert Kubica - Struggles a bit in Spa

Pole: Fernando Alonso - Totally focussed :D

I don't have my picks written down but I think they were as follows:
Alonso (revenge win!)
Massa (needs it)
Raikkonen (just so...)
Heidfeld (for the sake of the statistics)
Hamilton (low morale)
Kubica (no surprises)
Rosberg (getting more consistent)
Kovalainen (only if Renaults were more competitive)

PP: Alonso (still got that WDC title in the crosshair)
