Here's how I see it:
The Driver-of-the-Day: Kimi/Massa
Mr Plain Vanilla: Alonso/Heidfeld
The Disappointment: Hamilton (although I was expecting him to have problems this time)
The-Spirited-One: Kubica
Mr Lame-O: Fisi/Kova
The Court Jester: Ralf
The Oh-So-Useless: Button/Barrichello
Mr Invisible: Sato/Rosberg/Wurz

  • Glad to see so many agree my man Massa had the drive of the day .
  • Have to give kudos to Kimi for a good effort and Kubica . Good going Robert even if you did cost Massa another point . 8)

Kimi, got my vote. Only saw about 20 laps though. My eyelids rudely got in the way for the rest.
Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.

He did well. More than anyone else on the tarmac.

Kimi was good too but it was the pit-stop strategy that made the real difference...

To me Alonso was the star of the day. Yes he didn't win but he was 4 laps heavier than Hamilton, not 1 or 2. He could have easily got pole.

Then to even have a chance of beating the Ferraris and staying in touch with Raikkonen all the way, that was simply Alonso at his best, extracting from the car what really isn't there. I think his second stint was too short and they actually had could have put a few more litres and it may have made the difference.

Alonso gained just two points on Hamilton, but on the track, he put him exactly where he belongs, more than 30 seconds behind, at his home race despite all the British fan fare and all the noise. This is where Fernando needed to show Hamilton and the world what he is made of and he delivered it.

Good races too from Raikkonen, Massa, Kubica. Particularly Massa.
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!

DotD was a toss up between Kimi & Massa. I gave it to Massa by a bee's d***.

Mclaren's disappointed me, even though they finished 2-3, considering the pace & trouble free races they had.
Kubica impressive.
Red Bull would struggle to finish the alphabet let alone a race

Without any real fight. I really want to see Hamilton drop behind, say to P15 or so, and then fight his way back up like Massa did.

Driver of the day goes to Massa/Kimi split.
Racer of the day.....Massa/Kubica split.
Wimp of the day.....Fisi.
Team Stuff up of the day...RedBull/Mclaren split.
Hero of the day,....Sato....didn't torpedo anyone, didn't even make it on Camera  Hasn't this guy matured
Idiot of the day.....me, tis 1:30 am, why don't the teams plan a strategy each, reveal their strategies at what woul be the final pit stop, start the race there, then the guys actually race each other for the last 20 laps or so.......bugga, they can't, they have to save their engines for the next race.
If I ever meet Max, you guys will read about it.

Was disappointed in Hamilton.. I actually had him to win .. first time I have picked him to win. Alonso certainly showed him the way home this time .. and at Hamilton's home race.
Massa got my DotD. Well done RK a real fighter.
