I don't think that is required. Just because he has not been winning for a while does not make him a queen.

Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "hold the mayo" however I thinks you might be hamming it up a bit.

JV a "she" I don't think so. I think there would be more publicity if JV was a girl. No girls driving in F1 as far as I know.
