Kovalainen fastest ahead of Alonso, Kubica, Nakajima, Vettel, Trulli, Rosberg, Barrichello, Webber and Piquet

Trulli covered the most number of laps with 41 followed by Rosberg, Glock and Heidfeld with 40 laps each. Hamilton did the least number of laps with 31 while Button, Raikkonen and Sutil only managed 33. Vettel stopped after just 4 laps.

The top 8 are separated by less than half a second (0.464) and the top 16 are separated by just 0.709.

Looks like a very tight qualifying
