Talking of pigs of cars, nobody can compensate more than say 0.5sec/lap. MICHAEL wouldnt have won in cars like ARROWS, SUPER AGURI and the like.

However he won 3 GPs in the 96 FERRARI and that car surely was way inferior to the WILLIAMS....by the way the 94 BENETTON was on par with the WILLIAMS while the 95 WILLIAMS was distinctively faster.

Similarly AYRTON, NIGEL, MIKA and more recently FERNANDO produced stunning results in inferior vehicles.

As for 2007 I have to agree with Julian and I think the 6/1(3rd fav.behind KIMI, FERNANDO) offered by William Hill on FELIPE to become WDC is massive. Im not saying he is faster than KIMI but I think he will have a head start at FERRARI who are also the likely constructors champs for which they are made favourites.

I dont think the advantage will be down to the tyres though as they are going to be new for everyone.

Im hoping for even closer racing and a good deal of passing on the harder tyre compound.

2007 WDC standings:

1.Felipe Massa 112 p.
2.Kimi Raikkonen 100 p.
3.Fernando Alonso 96 p.
4.Jenson Button 88 p.
5.Heikki Kovalainen 86 p.
6.Ralf Schumacher 70 p.
7.Giancarlo Fisichella 68 p.
8.Lewis Hamilton 66 p.
9.Rubens Barrichello 58 p.
10.Robert Kubica 50 p.

CHEERS, and looking forward......

There is a thread for 2007 predictions. Perhaps you should post these there as well.

Yes I am curious too :) There are not that many points available in a season anyway...
