Pole time was 1:33.171 due to the wet conditions.

So we don't have a winner :(

sgd was the closest (1:24.999).

Good luck in Malaysia in 2 weeks time and enjoy the race

So lets see who can be closest to the Pole time on Saturday.
If someone gets a perfect match or near perfect, I'm sure I can convince marketing to give away a prize
I understod as the closest wins... :? of course that was TOO far for a prize, but why not winner if was the closest? :?

Sgd, I think that if no one even lands a shot on the target, much less next to or on the bullseye, then there is no winner

I just understood as "the closest wins" there where no words (besode the prize) about being near or not... as like for some drivers out there i was lucky with the weather as i had the slowest, i can't see how can it be that Fisichella is on pole and I didn't win the 'predict pole time"! :? :!: I'm quite disappointed, nothing was said about the winner to be xx seconds near or somethnig like that. that's no seriuos in fact.

Hey sqd, no need to be dissapointed over this. This was just for fun!. Besides you wouldn't want to win unfairly do you

If you want to look at the actual wording then I said

"... So lets see who can be closest to the Pole time on Saturday.
If someone gets a perfect match or near perfect, I'm sure I can convince marketing to give away a prize

Please include the time to the 1000's of a second and the driver ..."

And after pole I said that you sgd were the closest. So I've given you credit for that.
However only the time was closest but the driver you picked (JPM) wasn't correct so even if the time was close you wouldn't have won because of the choice of driver.

In any case, it appears that the wording may have not been very clear and we apologise for that. For the next race we will include the following:

The winner will be the one who manages to predict the closest time as well as the driver.
In the case of a time being too high or too low (wet conditions for example) compared to the times submitted, the time will need to be within 0.5 seconds of pole time to be declared a winner.

I hope this clarifies things and good luck next time and may the first race of the season be exciting.
