Nope, there was the first F1 season, and I think from memory, Rindt was awarded the championship posthumously.

Come on of course the first year everything is first. What I mean was there ever a season when no reigning or ex-world champ raced ?

Mate in '71 Stewart won and he was already champion in '69. There was also Hulme, Surtees and Hill all World Champions :crush: :alright:

Bloody trivia Addicts :crush: I'm not having a good day, Iwas a passenger in a car which hit a horse at 5am. As it hit the windscreen on my side I was thinking" there aint room for both of us in here" :shock: :shock: :shock:

Im ok, cept I cant find the brandy bottle, horse is going to be ok. My employer was driving. The vehicle is a write off :cry:

I sometimes work at 3am, 4am, 5am, 6am, 7am :cry: and some times I dont finish til 7pm :cry: :cry: I prefer employers to drive me in their cars
