Why am I NOT surprised. There are dark mutterings in pit lane about Bridgestone favouring a team or two (?) with better rubber 8)

I just hope they favour the right team

Other rumours suggest that the tyres will be handed out of the same container to all teams at the GPs at random

Either way conspiracy theories are great fun - who will replace MICHAEL as a main target?

Providing different tyres to different teams would be too obvious (not to mention illegal). Yes teams could influence Bridgestone into producing tyres that suits them however as there won't be significant development on the tyre front, the other teams will catch up fairly quickly.

The 2007 regulations state:
one tyre supplier present in the Championship : this company must equip 100% of the entered teams on ordinary commercial terms and make available identical quantities and specifications of tyres to all teams during a calendar year

Dark mutterings are the fodder of the rumourists who prey in the uninformed, and provide entertainment for the rest

The rumour I hear is a miniscule difference in the sidewall......but the other biggy is that as a certain team develops its "07 car, so does bridgestone develop its race tyre......hand in hand 8)

Julian, I hope its more than 1 team developing their new car otherwise you`d be guaranteed the unwanted result mate...

Couldnt you come up with something really exciting such as the FIA doing everything to secure the titles for MARK and REDBULL?

so if they win it will be down to the tyres? :?

It can only be better than in the past with this useless tyre battle favouring one team or the other big style... :(

People shouldnt underestimate the political power of team bosses like Ron Dennis and Flavio Briatore who wont spend millions into a game and being f.cked by their tyre supplier. In that case I belong to the 31% who dont believe in a significant advantage for FERRARI

In a famous German sports newspaper I read this week they are claiming the atmosphere between FERRARI and KIMI is totally spoiled because Jean Todt was quoted of asking KIMI to be more private about his party attitude.... a great loadab0ll0cks to me :P
