Given Williams going out on low fuel

The size of the fuel tank is kept very secret by the teams. Not many people know the actual size of the tank. I think most if not all of what you read is speculation.julian mayo wrote:Perhaps ED could wash down another No-Doze and clarify it for us
ATL would not release that info
I am still waiting for a split and merge mod then all non-relevant talk will be moved to The Lounge

When the kerfuffle was happening about BAR I read somewhere ? amongst other things a statement by ATL that the Bar tank was the same as supplied to other teams, except Williams, which was smallerEd wrote:The size of the fuel tank is kept very secret by the teams. Looks Like BAR/Honda is underestimated badly!
cheerio, mates; I already posted me picks on the Canadian G.P. thread, but I'll repeat them:
1. Kimi --because he's been robbed too many times before
2. Fernando --because he's so lucky and so fast
3. Michael --because I feel like seeing another podium for the wdc
4. Rubens --because two red cars is better than one
5. Nick Hiedfeld --because BMW Williams is fast
6. Jarno T. --because Toyota are also fast (in a straight line)
7. D.C. --because Red Bull are full of surprises
8. Juan Pablo --because he never does well here
what surprises me about most of the other picks (aside from the totally insanely optimistic Aussies picking Webbo to win!) is the absence, like my own list, of any BAR / Hondas. This makes me wonder if I shouldn't sneak back in at the last minute and put ol Jens on the podium for my picks. I mean if no one is picking them, doesn't that mean no one is paying attention?
and please don't come back at me about no one picking Red Bull, Minardi, Sauber, or Jordan. I mean, be reasonable!
I am so relaxed, of course, because my pick record this year is on a par with Sauber's chances to be bringing only two drivers to each event. That is NADA, nil, zero, nothing!
Cheers, Jim

we were insanely optimistic at Long Tan, Tobruk,in New Guinea Berthsheeda and unfortunately at The Eureka Stockade, where the Californians let us down, by stopping at Seymour and getting drunk, and arriving too late with their cannon
Stone the bloody crows Jim, fair crack of the whip mate, when the going gets tough we wake up and get interested.

Jim I've got Button in my picksJayVee wrote:Eighth: Jenson Button - I am taking a risk with this one as I think we may have a BARBBQ
But I don't think they'll be fast. The Honda grenade has to last for 2 engines on fast tracks
It will be a brave pick to put either BAR for Indy - unless of course they BARBBQ in Montreal
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!
