Just 20 minutes into the session and we have the first red flag! It is the Lotus of Fauzy!

The Lotus has been recovered and the session resumes

So far only Fauzy has a competitive time set and that is a 1:31.532

Now it is Rosberg who is fastest with a 1:25.311

For reference the fastest time in Barcelona during testing last year was a 1:18.926 by Rubens Barrichello in the Brawn GP (

Alonso has yet to go back out onto the track. It appears that Ferrari are having trouble fixing the problem

Third red flag of the day and it is Lucas di Grassi in the Virgin Racing. He went off and crashed. He is ok but the car is damaged.
So far Webber is fastest with a 1:21.487
