What is it with everybody calling Alonso sweet or cute or any other adjective to the same effect?

Many eons ago, in the misty history of a time long passed, there lived a beautiful queen. The BQ was somewhat delighted with the Visage of Alonso,
(reminding her of a late comedian, no doubt) and the BQ did go forth and post in praise of the way Alonso did drive, and walk, and breathe, and sh.......................
At that time there also lived a Rogueish Buckler of Swash, (no doubt driven by low self esteem, possibly caused by early weening, the perpetual pain of of being wrenched from the Bosom of his Family and sent to School, shudder, and the infidelity of those who would but traduce life itself).
Gnashing his teeth at the pure sweet love pouring from the Bq's posts in Favour of Alonso, he did but sarcastically suggest that Plain Alonso was but Cute. The BQ was struck with delight at that and has niched him in her heart evermore as that..........Despite the ravages of time upon his visage.
The RBoS did but then strike a churlish blow, and made low reference to Sweet F.A. which was reference to all but the driving ability of Alonso the now Cute.
And so, through the annals of time, such appendages have passed from generation to generation, as surely as the sands of time doth funnel thru the Hourglass

OMG you either spend your days watching the soaps or writing their scripts. Pass the bucket ....... I am feeling sick.
