Ok, I have been at work all day, so this is slightly delayed, but the second day of testing proved very similar to the first, with Rossi once again taking the fastest lap, with a 1'42.477.......

At just past 1.45pm, Dani Pedrosa crashed out on turn four, He was uninjured, but was forced to ride on a second bike for the rest of the session, which he managed to make good use of...

Carlo's Checa also made a good appearance, breaking the circuit record at roughly 4:30pm, only to see Rossi Smash it by breaking the 1'43 barrier...

Times: Day 2

The season is over, Rover. Here is the season closing headline,
"As Rossi accepts the mantle of World champion for the umpteenth time, officials are meeting to address the huge fall in crowd and tv numbers.
At the last race of the season, Rossi's fans had the circuit to themselves.
Meanwhile the F1 boats are experiencing a huge increase in crowd numbers......."

Serious comment. If Rossi doesn't go away and play with 4 wheels next season, they will have the same problem F1 had when whatshisname was winning everything in a red car

The final day of testing today was held in the dry, yet with the threat of rain......First to ride were Kenny Roberts Jr, Capirossi, Hofmann and Shinya Nakano, with a gradual increase in riders meaning that as of midday all have taken to the track, with the exception of Okada and World Champion Valentino Rossi.

Hometown riders Sete Gibernau and Carlos Checa have at least given some cheer to the fans in attendance, putting in laps during the morning?s session. John Hopkins continues to develop the Suzuki, and is the only rider so far today to break the 1?44 second barrier.
