However it is technical not driver related that is until Rubinho's confidence is totally eroded.

Hope so, mines a 5 litre VS which I refuse to upgrade. 220kw at the rear wheels, the body is about the only original bit, and I call it "therapy".GhoGho wrote:If you can wring the snot out of a Ute you can wring the snot out of anythingJulian Mayo wrote:GhoGho wrote:

Sir Frank NEVER signs drivers to long term contracts.. .....Williams is in danger of losing MW......MW is not in any danger. Sam and Frank have both stated that publicly. I don't see Nico as a threat to anyone til he gets his head down and concentrates on the race as a whole. Certainly not MW. Trying to put his team mate up against the fence lost him a whole bunch of browny points with every team manager.JayVee wrote:Good post BlinkyBill but I disagree on Raikkonen. Remember in Australia he also flat spotted his tyres and damaged the wing, he was saved by the safety car when he pitted for a front wing change.
But I would love to see Alonso and Raikkonen at McLaren next year just so that everyone sees just how good Alonso is![]()

I like your comment on MS. Just look at the facts, if Barrichello is that much behind Button then MS isn't that good![]()

I would imagine Nico is on a long term contract and another team would have to pay a lot of money to get him out. Webber is in a dangerous position whether by luck or not.
Snowy, in your adventure into the future, what else did you see ? I am sure Julian (Mr. Ambassador) would like some news![]()

MW is not in any danger, that is so far from the truth Julian. If Nico outperforms MW for a few races, MW is (as you say) gooorne
I don't understand why you are making such a big fuss out of that move, he was defending his position, how many times has MW done the same thing to others ? and worse, how many times did Webber run into the back of other cars at the start last year and the year before. (now you go quiet
Browny points ? MW is sure running out of those IMHO
As I said before, I would love to see Webber doing well but you are raising your expectations way too high. I would be worried about you if Webber ends up without a drive next year or the year after

Defending his position !
Not one person who saw the race could pssibly agree with that ludicrous statement, as you well know !!!!!!!
Thats why he was severly reprimanded by everyone in the team from Sir Frank down to the gofer....except Mark. When I need another hearty laugh I will go back and read the rest of your post

Yeah right, defending his position. I have to remember to use that next time MS does something questionable.JayVee wrote: Sure he cuts them loose when another team pays enough![]()

As for running into the back of cars, please thats just silly talk.
Webber still has a good reputation and is yet to set foot in a top car. There is plenty of dead wood in F1 these days and Webber is not in danger yet.
Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.

Look guys I am NOT saying what he did was right but PLEASE don't be selective and have double standards. What Nico did was done by Michael so many times in the past and by Webber as well.
Webber running into the back of other cars, well why don't you like hearing facts. Actually if you remember last year at the Nurburgring race, do you know why Webber didn't last more than the first corner ?
As for Nico getting severely reprimanded Julian, can you please provide more information as I haven't seen or heard anything.

you could have read the race reports after the incident on Grandprix.com., F1racing, and in Autoaction, F1Racing, The Melbourne Age motorsport column, and I think the SMH mentioned it. Back copies of the appropriate issues should be available thru your newsagents.JayVee wrote:Look guys I am NOT saying what he did was right but PLEASE don't be selective and have double standards. What you are saying isn't based on anything. Come up with something solid not just
I did go to Grandprix.com and read the race reports and this is what the report says about this: "In a flash he was ahead of the two McLarens and the two Williams-Cosworths that had shared row two were too busy sorting out each other that they paid little attention to the flying Alonso. In fact Mark Webber had little choice as the precocious Nico Rosberg tried to impose his will and pushed Mark off to the right. Webber not about to lift off for some schoolkid and so by the time they got down to the first corner Nico had to give"
I don't see any reprimand in fact Rosberg is being called precocious
Unless of course you are making that up from your own mill
You can always come up and say this program said that or that magazine said this. Anyone can come up with claims without facts. Come up with a reference at least would you (and please don't resort to the trash websites

JV, I am not about to keep a log of what I read, and where I read it to satisfy your whimsical posts. The fact is that I read that Nico was severly reprimanded. I read this in more than one medium.. To return to your post which caused me much mirth, you have just quoted that "........and pushed Mark off to the right". QED.

I think one should just ignore your posts cause you say something then if you cannot support it, you ignore it!Julian Mayo wrote:JV, I am not about to keep a log of what I read, and where I read it to satisfy your whimsical posts. You quoted a number of sources as having mentioned that Nico was severely reprimanded by everyone in the team from Frank Williams down. One of those sources that YOU quoted was Grandprix.com, I checked their report and quoted what they said. There was NO mention of a reprimand.
I also borrowed the F1 Racing magazine and again there was NO mention of a reprimand.
So please rather than resorting to your typical ways and not responding, please find me that report that you read on Grandprix.com or F1 Racing that mentions a reprimand.
You simply cannot state that you read it in MUTLIPLE sources then claim that you don't keep a log.
But really if you want to make up a story, make up a reasonable one and make sure it is hidden away from me
