Gee, and I thought these guys were extremely well paid to manage to keep the cars they are given in one piece and over the finish line in the best possible position. Are they not the worlds best. My modified v8 ute handles like a bar of soap in the rain, so I drive it just under its adhesion limits

Which is bloody hard to do, when reflex action comes into play, at 300kmh. You really do have to admire the guys, for all the fun we have, here. Ive driven at 250kmh, and the scenery tends to get a tad blurry for the first hundred Kays. A friend who raced superbikes says it is a quantum leap from there to 300 plus

And then the brain adjusts. The next problem is pulling in for fuel, and trying to get out of the car when it is still doing 60kmh, because it seems so slow
