Nah, keep them on the current tracks...(besides, Michelin wouldnt cope on a banked oval :lol: )

Just imagine the strategies....."do we want to go faster round the right hand turns or left hand turns"...etc. 8)

Current regulations probably specify a maximum rim width. By keeping this regulation, you can limit the width tyre. By trying to fit a wider tyre, all you would succeed in doing is creating a huge amount of flex in the sidewall. The car would feel like a wet sponge to drive and you could end up with a similar result to the Williams in Turkey.
