As the last round of sprints got underway, yesterday, there were a surprising number of dnfs in Race One, ranging from starter motor to electrical/mechanical mis-fires, and suspension failure. I doubt Tander would like a repeat of the front suspension failure as he tops Skyline in the lead on Lap One of the Bathurst 1000
Skaife won yesterday when Tod meekly allowed him past at the start and the pair set off after Tander.
Tod then had to queue for service when the safety car came out.
Lowndes must have lost count of the number of cars he passed, a great drive.
