We are pleased to announce the launch of the V8 Supercars forum where you can discuss anything V8s

Thanks to Julian who is the main contributor and will be the primary moderator of that forum.
Go have a look, Julian has even created a couple of competitions that we'll be offering prizes ( I think  )

Its a bit like the german touring cars, but faster ,louder , and more exciting.
Australian V8s are now racing in several countries. If you get the chance have a look :D

OK ED,
The series consists of two makes, Ford, & Gen, Motors (holden) running v8 motors, and tightly controlled body parts, mechanicals, and a control tyre.
Speeds are around the 280kmh mark, depending on the track. Grids are usually 32,33, cars. The racing is close, with some biif and barge, on some of the best drivers tracks in the world. It has a feeder series, of some 30 cars, and the competition for seats is huge. Some european drivers have tried and failed, especially at Bathurst, a track not unlike Nurburgring. Visiting GP drivers usually hang on the fence to watch it at Melbourne. Give it a look

Lately there is a tendency of Necromancy in this forum :) Every so often JM, the good Southern Necromancer of ours decides to raise the dead
