Turn 8

The new Istanbul Park circuit was well received by the drivers, who reckoned it was a tough challenge.

One corner in particular caught their attention ? the never-ending, high-speed turn eight.

As is the fashion with modern circuits, the corners were designated simply by turn number rather than name; but I reckoned such a keen piece of racetrack deserved better, so I am asking for your suggestions, what should turn eight be renamed(if it were up to us of course)

I think it should be called Temple ? as you need faith to get round it ...

Considering how some of the drivers felt after the Turkish GP, here's my suggestion..."the neckwrencher".

How about Schumacher corner. The g-forces are two strong for the drivers to look in their side vision mirrors.

Nah, Schuey hasn't got any, he took em off to try n make the Ferrari faster, and cos he didn't know why they were there

I dont think it helped them though...they still slow

I think this could become a bit of a competition....why dont we rename a corner each week, from the track that has just been raced(so we will rename a turn at monza on monday..and so on)...and let ed pick who he thinks is the winner after each event...
