For me Dotd was definitely Button. A well deserved win!!
Obviously with the championship over for the year all accolades must go to Seb Vettel. A truely remarkable feat at such a young age.
Someone needs to have a word in Hambone's ear... he seems to be running into so many cars this year.
Well done also Alonso... that guy never gives up.
I am thinking that it is probably about time Rubens thought about hanging up the helmet. Can't be much fun running around the mid to back of the field, and he is unlikely to be courted by any of the top teams.
I know the year is not over yet but just giving my brief opinion of a few of the drivers.
Of course all comments here do not reflect the opinion of newsonF1 and are my opinions only.
Looking forward to reading other members opinions too. _________________ Holy crap on a cracker!

Quite a hard choice between Button and Alonso, but went for Button. I think both drove fantastic races, and Schumacher's renaissance continues. I hope Mercedes gives him a car that can get podiums and wins next year.
On Barrichello: I wonder if Raikonnen will end up replacing him. When he can be bothered, Raikonnen's a fantastic driver. |

There have been rumours about Raikonnen but as you say it depends on whether he can be bothered. He is a bit up and down in his dedication... although apparently not in his dedication to his playboy lifestyle.
Personally I would prefer to someone new given a chance. _________________ Holy crap on a cracker!

Maybe they could get Ricciardo?
Red Bull really rate him, but he isn't joining the main team next year, and if he doesn't join Toro Rosso it would be better for him to be in a Williams than an HRT.
Ironically, Hulkenberg would also be a good option. |

I believe Riciardo will be in a toro roso next year getting "groomed" for a move to red bull the following year when Webber will be replaced/retired. _________________ I'm in shape
