Posted on behalf of Andy Pandy, Round of Japan winner:
“I’ve been trying my hand at this tipping competition for a couple of seasons now. Being a Raikkonen/Ferrari supporter, and with Mclaren’s disastrous start to the season, I was also off to a bad start in the competition. However, the emergence of Brawn and Red Bull was fantastic and the middle of season hotted up, and then the two big teams coming back to take some wins later in the year made it much more difficult again.
I have followed F1 for many years, and as always, looking forward to the new season - especially with some new teams and driver changes to consider, I think the tipping will be harder yet again!
I was pretty pumped to get 6 from 8 in the Japan GP plus pole to take the Round win. I would like to thank the competition organizers - thanks for another great competition. I look forward to challenging for the top 20 next season! _________________ 8 'n' Pole - The Best F1 Guessing Game

This was my first year in this competition and I can't believe I got 10th place!
I've dabbled on a couple of fantasy F1 games before, but they were simply pick your team and then forget about it for the rest of the season. This is great as you get involved for every race - finally all my years of dedicated F1 following, form studying and general enthusiasm for motorsport cna be rewarded!
Lookign forward to the 2010 competition. |
