Alonso again leaves it till the very last moment, he is back out as the others are about to start their final flyer!

So its Vettel on Pole ahead of Barrichello and Webber. Trulli, Nakajima, Button, Rosberg, Glock, Raikkonen and Alonso make the top 10

We'll wait for the fuel loads but impressive laps by Vettel and Barrichello. Webber appeared to be held up on his final run.

Given his fuel load and starting position (6th), Jenson Button admits that it will be nearly impossible to win - more

Even though this is the last Formula 1 race at Silverstone, it is reported that it could be back next year if Donington isn't ready.

Air temperature is 16 degrees while track temperature is 28 degrees. It is windy

Vettel starts from Pole with Barrichello alongside him
Webber starts from third with Trulli alongside him
Trulli starts from fifth with Nakajima alongside him
