Hi. Can anybody tell me who (i'm told a williams driver) set a new speed record for an F1. Apparently it was done at the Italian GP in 2004.

Thank you.

Yes it was a Williams driver (Antonio Pizzonia) replacing the injured Ralf Schumacher. The top speed reached during the Italian Grand Prix was 369.9 km/H beating the speed set a year earlier by Michael Schumacher at the same track of 368.8 km/H

I was asking the questions as the major newspaper here in Melbourne had a 100 question quiz with a great prize to the upcomping f1 GP. If you want to use there questions, fire off an email to them. The paper is the "Herald Sun" and is based in Melbourne Australia. Sorry, but I don't know their email address. Could probably look it up if you need it.

:D
