Round of Bahrain '17

Post by Thaddeus » Fri Apr 14, 2017 3:43 am

Apologies for jumping in, but it seems I'm a little early.

Assuming there's no safety car preventing any tussle at the sharp end, it'll be intriguing to see how Hamilton and Vettel stack up. Midfield's nice and tight too.

Winner: Sebastian Vettel
Second: Lewis Hamilton
Third: Valtteri Bottas
Fourth: Kimi Raikkonen
Fifth: Max Verstappen
Sixth: Daniel Ricciardo
Seventh: Felipe Massa
Eighth: Romain Grosjean
Ninth: Sergio Perez
Tenth: Esteban Ocon
Pole: Lewis Hamilton

I think that my picks for China should be kept for Bahrain so we will roll them over.

Winner: Sebastian Vettel
Second: Lewis Hamilton
Third: Valtteri Bottas
Fourth: Kimi Raikkonen
Fifth: Daniel Ricciardo
Sixth: Max Verstappen
Seventh: Felipe Massa
Eighth: Romain Grosjean
Ninth: Sergio Perez
Tenth: Carlos Sainz
Pole: Lewis Hamilton

This season looks substantially more interesting in terms of race results

Well, Thaddeus, you and I generally agree, just slight changes in the order

1. Seb Vettel brings another race to Ferrari
2. Lewis Hamilton's Merc will be within two or three seconds
3. Kimi makes up for last week's embarrassment to give Ferrari an edge in the manufacturers race
4. Max will be trying to get round Kimi and the Finn will get his revenge by moving under braking
5. Bottas will NOT get round the Dutchman
6. Daniel Ricciardo will get some points for Red Bull, too
7. Sainz will bring in the first TRs
8. and Kvyat will bring in the second TR so there'll be four of the Austrian energy drink king's cars in the points this week
9. Perez will get Force india into the points
10 and be joined by his partner Ocan to put both F.I.s in the points
And Lewis will get the pole again

and now I notice that cmlean is also close to me. Well, let's hope its an exciting one!

Huzzah! Supreme and handsome victory is mine!

Although I did forget the first race so I stand no chance of winning this year. Humbug.

The winning, or forgetting the first race (because I did that last year too)? :p

Edited extra bit: and 4th is damned good too. Given how quiet the forum is, for two regulars to be in the top 5 is pretty cool :)
