Re: Round of Brazil '16 - Picks and comments
Here be my picks for Brazil 2016
Winner: Lewis Hamilton
Second: Nico Rosberg
Third: Daniel Ricciardo
Fourth: Max Verstappen
Fifth: Kimi Raikkonen
Sixth: Sebastian Vettel
Seventh: Sergio Perez
Eighth: Nico Hulkenberg
Ninth: Fernando Alonso
Tenth: Felipe Massa
Pole: Lewis Hamilton
I really think that Nico will keep Lewis in check. He only needs a second and a third to tie up his first WDC.
Daniel Ricc to come home ahead of the young upstart Max
Kimi to again show Sebastian how to get the Ferrari home first of the team mates.
I think that there will be 2 Brazilians in the top 10.
So, these are mine for Round 20.
Winner: Lewis Hamilton
Second: Nico Rosberg
Third: Daniel Ricciardo
Fourth: Max Verstappen
Fifth: Kimi Raikkonen
Sixth: Sebastian Vettel
Seventh: Sergio Perez

Ninth: Fernando Alonso
Tenth: Felipe Massa

Hmm, odd. Got logged out but logging back in seems to have worked.
Ok... and got logged out when I tried posting this the first time [I'm Thaddeus, btw].
Anyway, I think weather is critical. If it tips it down, that's really helpful to Hamilton as I think Rosberg's dodgy in a deluge. He could finish behind the Red Bulls and Hulkenberg and Vettel. In the dry, I think Rosberg will be first or second, and likely to nab the title.

What am I talking about with 2 Brazilians?cmlean wrote: I think that there will be 2 Brazilians in the top 10.
There is only 1 in my picks.....

O.K. Chaps
I think this is the race where Nico's luck runs out; probably owing to a tangle with young Max Verstappen. Remember how lucky Nico's been in the past when tangling with other cars. this time Max will motor off into the distance while Nico's machine will be mortally wounded.
So.
The winner will be Lewis Hamilton. Why not? As Lewis has said he has nothing to lose, so he'll be cool and fast
2. Max will graduate to the second step on the podium after blocking Sebastian yet again.
3. Sebastian will be steaming again, but this time he should actually get his podium
4. Daniel Ricciardo will have some trouble in this race and take fourth from a good distance but still keep his second place in WDC
5. Kimi Raikkonen will get some points for Ferrari again
6. Felipe Massa will thrill the crowd by getting in the top ten
7. Sergio Perez will surprise us all this week
8. Bottas will be pushing Sergio but to no avail
9. Nico Hulkenberg will get more points
10 and finally, the last point will go to the champion and unluckiest of them all, Fernando in the sled made by McLaren & Honda
the pole will be, of course, Lewis Hamilton. He loves the pressure and Nico always fades under it.
Looking forward to lots of excitement on Sunday, especially with the weather.
Jim Watt. (the answer to FIAs inability to solve the issue of four wheels off the racing circuit is simple. In the old days (or at Indianapolis!) when you left the racing circuit you risked not merely your machine, but your life! So let the stewards order any car off the racing circuit to go to the rear of the running order --or be black flagged. I'll guarantee you that the 'problem' will evaporate.)

My Racing Gods: Fangio, Vukovich; Senna & Mears --all racers all the time; graceful winners & generous in defeat, but never giving up!!
