I will throw my hat into the ring and lead off with my picks for the British Grand Prix.

Winner: Lewis Hamilton
Second: Nico Rosberg
Third: Valterri Bottas
Fourth: Sebastian Vettel
Fifth: Felipe Massa
Sixth: Kimi Raikkonen
Seventh: Romain Grosjean
Eighth: Pastor Maldonado
Ninth: Nico Hulkenberg
Tenth: Daniel Ricciardo
Pole: Lewis Hamilton

Lewis is back in front of his adoring fans for this GP and will not disappoint.
Lotus and a Force India will lead home the first of the Renault powered machines. Who that will be, I'm not too sure.

Quite hard to guess. Power's not irrelevant but it's a lot twistier than the last two tracks so downforce matters relatively more.

Winner: Lewis Hamilton
Second: Nico Rosberg
Third: Sebastian Vettel
Fourth: Felipe Massa
Fifth: Valterri Bottas
Sixth: Max Verstappen
Seventh: Kimi Raikkonen
Eighth: Daniel Ricciardo
Ninth: Pastor Maldonado
Tenth: Nico Hulkenberg
Pole: Lewis Hamilton

I'm interested to see how Force India's B-spec car works. The battle from 5th downwards (and maybe 4th downwards) in the Constructors' is pretty competitive.

:D I tried to post my picks but the bleeding site only offered Mexico 2015; since when did you close 10 n pole before Qualifications?

Well, never mind; hardly anything works in F1 anymore.

Here's what I think will happen Sunday in Silverstone; probably this'll be my best entry ever, since it is not allowed (Is Mr. Ecclestone in charge of 10 n plle btw?)

1. Hamilton in his works Merc (probably mostly to keep interest alive in F1)
2. Vettel in what is labelled a Ferrari (again, to try to inject more 'interest' in the 'sport')
3. Raikkonen in the other red car (see above)
4. Bottas in the Merc/Williams (for being willing to let the red cars ahead)
5. Ricciardo in the RBR in a feeble effort to mollify the money man
6. Verstappen in the T.R. to embarrass RBR
7.Kvyat because he's probably not understanding his instructions very well
8. Sainz in an effort to draw more young people to the track
9. Hulkenberg because they feel the heat from Le Mans
10 Massa in the other Williams will have his usual bad luck

Did you notice little Nico Rosberg is a DNF? Well, yes he is... and the Merc people will make up some kind of story to 'explain' it.

pole: this is the only hard one; but I think Lewis is 'sand-bagging' Nico in Practice and will dust him off tomorrow in good fashion. that will be the last exciting thing to happen at Silverstone for the week-end.
My Racing Gods: Fangio, Vukovich; Senna & Mears --all racers all the time; graceful winners & generous in defeat, but never giving up!!
