Okay, so picking Raikkonen for win in last round did not work that well. :o

I am being more conservative this time :D

First, Vettel. He has not failed recently and I see no reason for him or his team to start making mistakes.

Then it seems McLaren is competitive after all, and either Button or Lewis can be on the podium.

Fernando and Ferrari are focused and should be near the top runners.

Then I expect Lotus, Force India, Sauber and Williams with an advantage for Lotus as they keep improving the car.

Winner : Sebastian Vettel

Second : Jenson Button

Third : Fernando Alonso

Fourth : Felipe Massa

Fifth : Kimi Raikkonen

Sixth : Mark Webber

Seventh : Lewis Hamilton

Eighth : Nico Hulkenberg

Ninth : Romain Grosjean

Tenth : Sergio Perez Mendoza

Pole : Sebastian Vettel

:D I agree (mostly) with Jido's reasonings. That said, here's me picks & reasons:

1. Vettel (momentum; and he's loved this circuit)
2. Hamilton (he won two years ago and he's due)
3. Jenson (he might place ahead of his partner; tho' he's been trending down and might not make the podium)
4. Fernando (it's slip, slip, slipping away)
5. Webber (he's also slip slip slipping)
6. Kimi R. (he's getting the most he can out of his machine)
7. Felipe (I'm not a little Phil believer & I think his best days are behind him)
8. Romain Grosjean (he might make the top five if he gets by his team-mate)
9. Hulkenberg (hope he enjoys working for Peter next year)
10. Perez

pole: Seb Vettel again
My Racing Gods: Fangio, Vukovich; Senna & Mears --all racers all the time; graceful winners & generous in defeat, but never giving up!!

Hey, I don't!

I must admit, it really wouldn't be a surprise, but I think others could win (and hope they do).

Would love to know how many picked Kimi for the win.
I was more than happy to see him take the flag.... happier than Kimi even.

Malinovsky and Marinello Murphy top scored this round. Both players submitted their picks for this round and on the same day Malinovsky submitted them a few hours earlier!.

Congratulations to Malinovsky, you have won a Gift from NewsOnF1 USA Online Store valued at $25.

Malinovsky managed to pick 7 of the top 10 finishers with 2nd, 3rd and 7th in their exact finishing place. Picking Lewis Hamilton for pole earned Malinovsky 6 additional points and scored a bonus 4 points for picking 7 and Pole!

Marinello Murphy managed to pick 8 of the top 10 finishers with 2nd, 7th, 9th and 10th in their exact finishing place. Picking Sebastian Vettel for pole earned Marinello Murphy 0 additional points and scored a bonus 6 points for picking 8 without Pole!

Well it has been a very interesting year and I think my nickname should be changed to yo-yo..... since my picks were up and down all year!! Still I think if you can finish in the top 200 overall then you aren't doing too bad.
Looking forward to 2013.... just hoping it will be a better year for me (and many others) on a personal level.
