The picks you have entered are:

Winner: Lewis Hamilton

Second: Jenson Button

Third: Kimi Raikkonen

Fourth: Sebastian Vettel

Fifth: Fernando Alonso

Sixth: Sergio Perez Mendoza

Seventh: Nico Hulkenberg

Eighth: Mark Webber

Ninth: Michael Schumacher

Tenth: Pastor Maldonado

Pole: Lewis Hamilton

I doubt McLaren will lose their substantial speed advantage, but it remains to be seen whether or not they'll actually manage to get both cars to the end of the race.

It'll also be interesting to see (assuming they bring it) how Lotus' DRS device (tested since Hungary at least but never used in qualifying or a race) works.

:D :D Greetings Race Fans!!

I'm with JacFan on swimming against the tide. Only I think the reigning Champion will be racing hard to join the Hambone and Fernando, the Cute as a three time winner this season. My top five are the same as the last two tries at Suzuka with the wunderkind making it 2 in a row.

Winner: Seb Vettel; he's stoked!!
close second: Lewis Hamilton; he wants to make himself alone at the top with four wins and will try too hard and maybe not even podium
third: Alonso: he would win if he had the car under him, and he might win here if Lewis & Seb get tangled up
fourth: Mark Webber; his bad luck can't last and he might even podium
fifth: Jenson who will drive a solid race only to be hounded yet again by weak strategy
sixth: Kimi the Ice man, driving a car that is fading as Lotus can't keep up with McLaren & RBR & Ferrari on the development end
seventh: Nico Rosberg, who is struggling ... or is it Ross Braun?
eighth: Paul di Resta, driving like Fernando & making the most of what his car has
ninth: Romain Grosjean, if he can keep it on the circuit
tenth: Felipe Massa, who will be seeing his ride disappear before his eyes

pole: seb vettel will pull something from his hat

looking forward to a really good race,

My Racing Gods: Fangio, Vukovich; Senna & Mears --all racers all the time; graceful winners & generous in defeat, but never giving up!!

I don't think Red Bull will have it easy but I still believe in their chances for both championships. Vettel and Webber were fast again in practice, so I am betting for a Vettel win :o

On the other hand, the Ferrari did not look as fast as RBR and McLaren in practice. But Alonso is driving it, so I expect a podium - I even picked Fernando Alonso for pole! Unlikely but a nice bonus if it comes true.

The new Lotus configuration seems to work and I think they are not showing all their potential on this track yet. I placed Romain ahead of Kimi due to Kimi's setup difficulties with a failing KERS.

Next Lewis Hamilton in McLaren - the fast boy in the fast car - but can they all put together in the midst of the mini-turmoil they are going through?

I expect (wish for) a great race for Massa too. Paul di Resta is my top pick for a place among the non-top teams, and Pastor Malonado to close my selection.

I also wish a good result for Kamui Kobayashi but I can't chose everyone ;)

The picks you have entered are:

Winner: Sebastian Vettel

Second: Fernando Alonso

Third: Romain Grosjean

Fourth: Lewis Hamilton

Fifth: Mark Webber

Sixth: Jenson Button

Seventh: Felipe Massa

Eighth: Kimi Raikkonen

Ninth: Paul di Resta

Tenth: Pastor Maldonado

Pole: Fernando Alonso
