Fastest laptimes and the end of Day 2 in Jerez:

There were a number of red flags durng the session, the first was by Ricciardo when his car stopeed on the track, next it was Hamilton when he went off in his Mercedes due to rear brake system failure. The 3rd flag was caused by Razia in the Marussia when he stopped on the track.

Very late in the session in fact just 2 minutes before the end, both Grosjean and Hulkenberg stopped on the track bringing the session to an early end

Testing continues tomorrow (Thursday)

Rosberg and Mercedes will be relieved to have got in a large number of laps, given their reduced running on days 1 and 2.

Hamilton covered the most laps with 145 followed by Gutierrez with 142 and Pic with 109
Least laps by di Resta wth 49 (took over from Bianchi in the afternoon) while de la Rosa only managed 51 laps after a gearbox failure limited Ferrari's running in the morning

The next test is at Barcelona from the 19th of February

There were 2 red flags, the first for Esteban Guteirrez and the second for Charles Pic. Both cars had some sort of a mechanical problem
